Bagan

Godzilla video game character
Bagan
Species Dragon
Height 150 meters
Weight 280,000 tons
Relationships Godzilla (Cell donor)
King Ghidorah (Cell donor)
Major enemies Godzilla
King Ghidorah
First appearance Super Godzilla

Bagan (バガン) is a monster that was going to be given a chance to battle Mothra and Godzilla, but was cut out. It is the most popular of the unmade Toho monsters due to its appearance as a final opponent in the Super Nintendo video game, Super Godzilla. This is Toho's most well-known abandoned monster (abandoned, film-wise).

First, Bagan appeared in the original draft of Godzilla 1985 (1984) as a strange shape shifting creature with three forms: dragon, sea monster, and a giant ape. He could change from one form to another and when he did, he recovered from all the injuries done to its previous form. In the end, Bagan would combine into single monster with the wings, arms and head of the dragon, the chest, arms, and head of the ape, and the legs, eyes, and mouth of the sea monster. He was stronger in this form, but it could not recover from his injuries, thus in this state Godzilla could defeat it. Bagan was cut from the film because Tomoyuki Tanaka did not have the budget for these special effects.

In 1990s, Bagan's body design was completely changed. He became a large three-horned dragon-like kaiju with white, red, and black scales, wings, and a whip-like tail.

In 1990, he was going to have a chance to battle Mothra in Mothra vs Bagan. He would appear as a Yamato dragon beast that lived in Ancient China. His body eventually became frozen in a block of ice in the Himalayan Mountains. Someone frees Bagan by using explosives on the mountain. He starts to wreak havoc and is unstoppabable until Mothra defeats him and saves the world. The film went very far in the development, but it was canceled because following the box office disappointment of Godzilla vs. Biollante, Toho blamed the fact that an unfamiliar monster was used and Bagan was taken out.

In 1993, Bagan appeared as a final enemy in the Super Nintendo video game, Super Godzilla. When Godzilla fights Bagan, he would change into a second stronger form called Super Godzilla and defeat Bagan.

In 1995, another film that starred Bagan called Godzilla vs. Bagan was going to be released and also, Godzilla changes into Super Godzilla in the film and defeats Bagan. But Bagan was taken out and replaced by Destoroyah and the storyline was renewed. The movie was changed to Godzilla vs. Destoroyah and it became one of the most successful Godzilla films.

Obsidius

Godzilla video game character
Obsidius
Species Lava monster
Height 98 meters
Weight 78,000 tons
Origins SpaceGodzilla's crystals
Relationships SpaceGodzilla (Creator)
Major enemies Earth Defenders
Global Defense Force
Aliens
Working together with Mutants
First appearance Godzilla: Unleashed
Created by Pipeworks Software

Obsidius (オブシディアス?) (originally known as Magmouth) is a villainous entity created exclusively for the video game Godzilla: Unleashed.

Although most of the crystals deposited on Earth by the meteor showers embedded themselves in the surface, some of them managed to punch through the Earth's crust and enter the lithosphere. There, brought together by the magma flows from within the Earth, a sentient creature was brought to life by the accumulated power of the crystals and the raw, ferrous materials of the Earth. Obsidius emerged from a volcano onto the surface world only recently, and thus far has resisted all attempts at communication. Its virtually impenetrable mineral exterior shields him against both physical and energy assaults. It advances single-mindedly toward the most unstable crystal formations on the surface, and as such should be considered extremely dangerous. It is assumed that Obsidous was killed in the end of the game's story.

Obsidius is made of volcanic rock, therefore resisting most attacks on it. It is immune to lava, and therefore can run around in the lava pool on the Seattle arena in the game. It can curl itself into a ball and roll around at a higher speed. Many of Obsidius's attacks are similar to Orga's, with its huge arms and flexible legs playing a huge role in its attacks.

Obsidius was one of the monsters in the IGN roster that got to be game after winning in the roster. The other monsters in the roster that lost to Obsidius were Firelion, The Visitor and Lightning Bug.

Obsidius's name could be named after an igneous rock called obsidian.

Krystalak

Godzilla video game character
Krystalak
Species Crystal monster
Height 76 meters
Weight 41,000 tons
Origins SpaceGodzilla's crystals
Relationships SpaceGodzilla (Creator)
Major enemies Earth Defenders

Working together with Mutants
First appearance Godzilla: Unleashed
Created by Pipeworks Software

Krystalak (クリスタラック?) is a villainous entity created exclusively for the game Godzilla: Unleashed. It appears in the Wii and DS versions of the game.

Krystalak is a semi-sentient crystal organism, spawned by the same meteor shower that threatens to rip the Earth apart. Born from the crystals, Krystalak seeks to bring all of their energies together to make itself into the ultimate monster. Like the crystals that spawned it, Krystalak is quite resistant to most forms of energy weapons, forcing opponents to fight him tooth and claw. With no ties to any existing alien or terrestrial powers, Krystalak seeks power at any cost.

Krystalak is born from the crystals that crashed onto Earth, therefore producing crystal based powers. It fires crystal shards as a longer range attack and can fire crystal projectiles from its tail. It has incredible agility, and can attack with incredible skill. Its most devastating ability is the ability to overload its heart and cause a huge shockwave to blast around it, dealing incredible damage.
